Steering Systems & Replacement Cables:
WARNING: Although Uflex designs cable systems that meet or exceed all existing industry standards
and certifications, it should be noted that some high performance boats equipped with high performance accessories, such
as motor jack plates and high performance propellers, can generate steering loads far in excess of 300 lbs. at the tiller end.
It is mandatory that boats equipped with high performance equipment or accessories be water tested to insure that
steering loads are within safe operating limits.

The Ultimate Packaged Steering System!
A convenient kit form, especially suitable as
replacement steering, that includes helm, bezel and cable. The cable is
available in 1-ft increments from 8 to 20 feet (specify cable length when
ordering). The wheel is not included.
This kit includes:
- M86 - preassembled helm with steering cable
- G86 - shaft assembly
- X34 - 90° bezel

- All stainless steel cable output ends
- Made exclusively in corrosion resistant materials
- Optional 90° or 20° installation
- Standard 3/4”tapered shaft
- Lock-to-lock steering wheel turns: 3,5
